2012 Bayou Pages Contest (scroll down for on-line entry form)

HOMETOWN HONEYMOON

Newlyweds Clotile and Jacques took off in their convertible from their Mama and dems on the banks of the Bayou Teche for their scenic hometown honeymoon. What better way to start their lives together than exploring the beauty of where they both grew up and would now begin a new journey. So they hopped on the Bayou Teche Scenic Byway and began their travels.

They made their way down to St. Martinville where just off the Byway they visited the Longfellow-Evangeline State Commemorative Area. There, under the sprawling oak, they remembered the story of the fateful couple Evangeline and Gabriel. Their jorney took them through towns like New Iberia and past sites like the State Wildlife Refuge and Cypremort Point State Park. Their next stop, Franklin, where Clotile insisted they visit the Grevemberg House Museum. This historic home holds many secrets and artifacts of St. Mary Parish.

They circled back around and found the Chitmacha Museum in Charenton, where they bought each of their mothers a hand-woven river cane basket-an actual piece of Chitimacha heritage. They finally wound their way back towards home, and realized they were just in time for the Sunday night soiree at Angelle's Whiskey River Landing in Henderson. It was there that Clotile and Jacques realized, as they danced the evening away-that life couldn't get much sweeter than right here at home in the heart of Cajun Country.


To be eligible for entry in the $5,000 Grand Prize drawing, you must locate ALL 4 MAP POINTS, located in the Business Classified Section of this directory, listing the correct page numbers and complete the information on the Entry Form below.

Rules:
1. To be a winner, you must find all 4 (FOUR) map points and have the correct page numbers.
2. Once you have found all 4 (FOUR) map points (as seen in the business classified section of the Bayou Pages directory), fill in the page number that you found each of them on.

The hidden map points are only in the Business Classified and map points found any other place in the directory are not considered part of this contest.


EATEL Directories, LLC dba SunShine Media will hold a live drawing in late November and announce the winner during the 99.9 FM KTDY, 97.3 FM The DAWG, and News Talk 96.5 FM. Only complete and accurate entries received by 12:00am (CST) on November 2, 2012 will be eligible for the $5,000.00 cash prize drawing. For an entry to be eligible, you must find all four (4) map points and have the correct page numbers on the entry form. Map points are only in the Business Classified, and if found in any other sections of the directory do not apply to this contest.

No purchase necessary to enter or win. You must be at least 18 years of age or older to enter and a legal resident of the State of Louisiana. All entries become the property of EATEL Directories, LLC dba SunShine Media and as such can be used in the promotion of this directory product. Bayou Pages is a division of SunShine Media. Only complete and accurate entries received in the Bayou Pages offices or through the online entry process will be eligible for the drawing. There will be one cash prize awarded to the individual whose name is drawn from the entries received by the deadline for entry, and there will be no substitutions.
